GALLERY HOTEL presents its new terrace
Last Thursday the 18th of September, the Gallery Hotel, situated in the very centre of Barcelona, held a cocktail party to celebrate the opening of its new terrace. People from the tourist sector as well as hotel guests attended the event.
The guests were able to enjoy an abundant aperitif, representative of the new market cuisine that is served in the Café del Gallery Restaurant. Things were kept lively through a D.J and jugglers who played with fire and lights.
The Gallery Hotel presented 21 new Superior Rooms designed for those clients who prefer those extra little details and an even more personalized service. Decorated in a sober and elegant style, these rooms are situated on one of the higher floors, totally exterior facing, they offer the choice of either a King Size or two single beds. To enable our clients to feel at home, we have installed an i-pod station with radio and alarm clock, so one can listen to one´s own personal music selection. Additionally there is a DVD, so that one´s favourite films can be enjoyed. So that it is not necessary to worry about anything, in addition to the daily laundry service, we have created a free shoe cleaning service. This wide range of services along with our free coffee and tea facilities is aimed at helping you, our client, to relax
Last Thursday the 12th of June, The Hotel Molina Lario situated in the centre of Málaga, hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the coming of Summer. Hotel guests along with representatives of Malaga society attended the event.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful aperitif along with the most refreshing and best Mojitos and Caipiriñas to be found in the city. The party became a spectacular show of lights and music. The most exciting moment was when a group of musicians invaded the party in the Café de Bolsa courtyard at midnight, a dose of Brazilian music to make things go even better.
Gallery Hoteles Open Their Terraces
The Gallery Hoteles Terraces are now open and ready to welcome the Spring.
In Barcelona, the Café del Gallery has everything ready so that you can enjoy the new Summer Menu that will include seasonal products while maintaining it´s vanguardistic approach to Mediterranean Cuisine. Also each Thursday during the months of June and July , your evening meal on the terrace will be accompanied by live music.
In Málaga, the Cafe de Bolsa, a small oasis in the centre of the city, has a variety of options, from Gastronomic Days to Musical Evenings beginning on the 30th of May through the months of June and July. An idyllic spot, both quiet and cool.
Gallery Hotel organizing a wine tasting of Raventós i Blanc
On Thursday the 8th of May the Gallery Hotel organised a wine tasting sesión with Raventós i Blanc. The tasting took place on the terrace, Café del Gallery. Our clients were able to taste first cava, then white wines and finally red wines. At the end of the session opinions were exchanged as a light cocktail was served.
“Gourmet Days” in Gallery Hotels
Gallery Hotels put a strong emphasis on the gastronomic quality of their two hotels: the Gallery Hotel in Barcelona and the Hotel Molina Lario in Malaga. The chefs at both hotels have prepared a variety of dishes and through playing with textures, colours and seasonal produce have made the Gourmet Days into something to be remembered.In the Cafè del Gallery, the first week of every month is tinted with a particular hue: Dinner becomes a special experience. The first course is a tasting menu of four different starters, the main course is chosen from three exquisite dishes and to round it off, the variety of desserts will surely not leave you indifferent. All of this in a relaxed and cosy atmosphere. The Gourmet Days will be held until the month of May.
And in the Restaurant of the Cafè del Bolso in Malaga, a Tasting Menu at a cost of 35 Euros and a Special Menu of 55 Euros which includes a harmonic combination of fine wines. The month of February will be dedicated to the dishes representative of Malagan Cuisine: in March, the delights of Easter will be on offer and in April and May a variety of Rice dishes will take centre stage.
Azón and Dufresne, through Gallery Hoteles meet once again 100 days before the Olympics
The Catalan sailors, who received a silver medal in Athens, have taken part in a sailing event in Barcelona for journalists in the tourism sector. At just 100 days from the start of the Beijing Oympics 2008, the Olympic sailors Sandra Azón and Natalia Via-Dufresne meet again after winning the 470 medal in Athens 2004, through their sponsor and faithful admirer Gallery Hoteles, a company that believed in them from the very start and took the decision to back them in their sporting careers.
On 29th of April, in a promotional event organised by the hotel chain for the touristic sector of the press, both set sail in two First Class from the Olympic Port in Barcelona. After a lively sail along the Barcelona coast, they took the opportunity on their return to give their impressions on their upcoming participation in Beijing.
GALLERY HOTELES MADE THIS THIRD “BAUTIZO DE MAR”
Gallery Hoteles with the Olympic Rowing team of Sandra and Mónica Azón offered the third edition of the “Bautizo de mar” course. The children enjoyed themselves at a great nautical day. First of all they learnt some basic theoretical notions eof sailing. Afterwards , the children prepared the boats with the help of the Olympic team, and went sailing for over two hours . Later on, they had the experience of going in a kayak. After renewing their strength over lunch , they took part in a drawing competition, before having fun in the swimming pool . The day ended with a “chocolatada” and a presentation of diplomas.
LA CASETA AT THE HOTEL MOLINA LARIO
Last August, the garden terrace of the Hotel Molina Lario was turned into a Caseta during the Málaga Fair. This met with great success. The garden terrace was opened from twelve p.m. until 1 a.m
Tapas were served, followed by a special Fair menu and finally coffees and liquors were enjoyed.. The garden terrace was decorated with Chinese lanterns and barrels. Spanish music livened up the evening.
Later on in the evening many people took advantage of the swimming pool terrace located at the top of the Hotel.
GALLERY HOTEL OPENS ITS TERRACE—GARDEN RESTAURANT
Located in the middle of the Barcelona Eixample, Gallery Hotel has once again heralded the coming of Summer by opening its terrace-garden.
From the month of June on, The Café del Gallery Restaurant recommends its new selection of rice dishes, which have been added to the elaborate menu created by its chef David Gaya. These rice dishes can be enjoyed either during the day or in the evening and include specialities such as Rice with Lobster or an exquisite Black rice and even a rather different Wild ceps rice with Parmesan Cheese.
Furthermore, every Thursday during June and July, our clients can enjoy live music during their meal. A special Thursday Evening Menu is available along with the Restaurant A La Carte Menu.

NEW OPENING
The Hotel Molina Lario 4* located in the centre of Málaga is propiety of Gallery Hoteles. It opened their doors at the beginning of August. It has a perfect location, in front of the Cathedral in the cultural and commercial centre of the city, just a few steps of the Port and the Picasso Museum.
