THE NEW 'GALLERY HOTEL' RE-OPENS ITS DOORS WITH MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY AND COINCIDING WITH THE MWC
The Gallery Hoteles group concludes a phase of renovation and expansion that has lasted four years, and with which it is committed to the consolidation of two lines of business: hotels and restaurants.
In 2015 Gallery Hoteles began an important phase of renovation and expansion of its establishments, with the strategic objective of "positioning itself with two clear business lines: on the one hand, its three hotels established in the category of four superior stars (Barcelona, Malaga and Mallorca), and on the other, its new restaurants, unique gastronomic and meeting spaces that include cocktails, based on a product and author's cuisine" as stated by its General Director, Marta Golobardes.
This week, coinciding with the MWC, the central Roselló street is witnessing the reopening of the new Gallery Hotel, which reopens its doors with 100% occupancy to join the host of the most important international meeting of technology in the country.
In the first two months of 2019, the second phase of the renovation of the Gallery Hotel was carried out, including the main entrance - with a new entrance that replaces the iconic revolving door with a spectacular iron and glass cage - the reception and the hall , the main staircase of noble areas, the meeting rooms with a more personal and cozy renewed style, the general air conditioning system and the restaurant, which changes its name and concept giving birth to the new 'SINTONIA'. This reform has meant a total investment of 3.5 million euros.
The gastronomic 'SINTONIA', is the one that completes the new proposal of restoration of the Group, after the opening in 2018 of the restaurants 'MATIZ' in Malaga and 'SALICORNIA' in Mallorca.
Gallery Hotel began its renovation phase in 2015 with the renovation of all its rooms. During 2017 and 2018, the integral reform of the Molina Lario hotel was continued, the second establishment of the group, located in Málaga; and that same year, a new holiday hotel was added to Mallorca, the Hotel Honucai.
Once this renewal process is completed and with this new positioning, GALLERY HOTELES has set a billing target of 16 million euros for 2019, an increase of 10% over the previous year. For this, the group has the income of its 3 hotels, the THE TOP brand for its terraces on the roofs and from now on, with the new line of restaurants.
